Struggling to Find My Passion

Ever since I first took the plunge into the work-a-day world, I've been trying to find my place in it. I've had dozens of jobs over the years and gained a wealth of experience in a host of industries. Deep down, however, I've always felt I was destined to be more passioniate about my work.

We spend so much of our days and our lives at work. I thought that work should at least be a relfection of the person's interests and passion. But can a person actually make a living and enjoy themselves too. This has been my personal struggle.

I found a few good article online today that reminded me that I'm not alone in feeling this way.
Here is a quote from one at Was it Worth It?

But we're never told/taught this when we're young. We just head off down the
path of becoming good employees. It's never considered that we can be the
employer, the artist, the politican, the catalyst for the next big change in
society. We are programmed as workers.

and here is a post over at Worthwhile, then talks about dead end jobs.

I know that I plan to continue to find my way to passionate work that is creative, fullfilling and valuable to the world. I hope to see you there, too.
